I really like the background contrasting colour from light to dark - Seeing it from my screen it doesn't actually look as dark as it did on the big board! (Which is a bonus) - The writing however is still a bit small, but aside from that it looks really good and well thought through.
I like the colour contrast as it makes the magazine more attractive, also i like the masthead as it catches the readers eye. I think for the logo you could delete the white background to make it stand out more and blend in with the background.
I like the way you have kept the magazine cover simple and neat , i also like the way you have placed your images together. Even better if you could place the schools slogan and maybe make the font size bigger.
I think this looks really appropraite for the target audience of students and it's laid out really well and neat. You could improve this by lighting the bottom left photo a bit more to make it contrast with the dark background.
Zoe - appropriate background image here. You'll need to change the blog background because lots of the writing is too hard to read due to the transparency. I also can't really read the blog title.Well done for posting the front cover on the blog rather than through slideshare - please disseminate this information to your peers.You begin to show attention to detail in your front cover, however, it does look somewhat like a flyer or poster rather than a magazine cover.
